Albino Lorenzo (Tropea, January 19, 1922 - Tropea, December 27, 2005): The art historians who have dealt with him have linked him to the artistic current of Impressionism, even if he could, in some ways, be defined as an innovator in its kind. He received the first notions of drawing from his father Saverio and trained in Palmi at the Magistral Institute. In 1940 he began working at the direct tax office of his city and in 1944 he married Luigia Capua, with whom he had 18 children.
