The hat boxes are cylindrical boxes used to preserve and protect the shape and to keep the hats clean. They were designed and produced as early as the 18th century for the needs of aristocratic families, and used in their travels, long journeys in Europe and overseas.

These prestigious round boxes were then also used in the early 20th century in the art of pastry making, especially for the packaging of panettone and for Christmas packagings, always maintaining the same name.
