Vintage Angelini wooden drawing board

Beautiful vintage wooden drawing board from the 1950s/60s, produced by the Angelini company of Venice.
The history of this drawing board is very interesting, it in fact belonged to Giulio Padoan, a master mosaicist whose works date back to the 1950s and are still admired in the Central Station of Milan (4 panels with travel themes) and in the Galleria Umberto of Naples (the zodiac signs)
The drawing board is in good condition, complete with pencil holder on the side, but the ruler is missing. The surface of the table appears to have been treated with a varnish at a later date. The table tilt mechanism with the wheel has not been tested, it may not work. The structure shows some signs of aging, in particular worm holes on the base and scratches, as shown in the photo. The top is healthy and shows no signs of woodworm. The drawing board has been treated with an anti-woodworm product.
