Antique oil painting on canvas depicting The Adoration of the Three Wise Men, a favorite theme in antique religious paintings that is based on a traditional iconography, where the three sumptuously dressed kings are portrayed in front of the figures of the Holy Family, placed on the left of the composition. The older one, kneeling in adoration of the Child while kissing his foot, has already placed the gift at the feet of the Virgin, while the second and third await their moment to honor the sacred event, with their precious gifts still in their hands. The composition is very versatile and intelligently calibrated in colors, especially in those continuous contrasts between the very light and darker parts. As a perspective background there are two clouds with cherubs observing the scene.
