Sculpture La Pietà by Amilcare Santini from the mid-20th century

Beautiful statue depicting the Pietà dating back to the 1960s, created and signed on the back by the sculptor Amilcare Santini, born in Tuscany in Cecina in 1910 (1910 - 1975). His practice reproduces sculptures based on his own original creation and that of other artists. Most of the works are classical, religious and mythological in style. The material is a mixture of marble, ivory powder, alabaster and resin that is poured into a mold and then finished by hand. Perfect for decorating a living room or study with class.
