Rare A.V.E.M. wall light in laminated Murano glass with character, Italy 1950s

Fantastic applique attributed to the A.V.E.M. company in artistic Murano glass with a character from the Venice Carnival. The glass is in multiple shaded colours, light blue, pink and yellow, and the character wears a pink dress with golden details and a black hat, the latter has a small lack in decoration, as shown in the photo. Apart from this reported defect, the applique is perfect and its workmanship is very demanding, certainly handmade by a Murano master with great manual skill. The brass frame, new electrical system with E14 type bulb connection.
