Important oil painting on panel from the beginning of the 20th century signed Luca Postiglione, depicting Portrait of a Young Woman, Naples 1876 - 1936.
Son of Luigi Postigione, Luca was a prolific painter, a pupil of his father and brother Salvatore. He exhibited at the Promoter of Naples from 1896 to 1915 (1904, Rimembranze, Testa di donna, Sketch; 1906, Interior and Studio). He paints portraits and genre scenes, often inspired by Neapolitan folklore.
