Antique pendulum clock from the Empire era depicting Giambologna's Flying Mercury, where Mercury rests with his left foot on the wind generated by the mouth of Zephyr/Aeolus. The god Hephaestus is represented in the octagonal base. The clock is made of gilded bronze with mercury gilding, movement with wire suspension, early 19th century - Empire period, from France. Dial signed LeConte à Paris. In excellent condition, working.
