Pair of vintage design armchairs with double-sided backrests

Very rare pair of vintage armchairs dating back to the 1940s. The peculiarity of these armchairs, produced in Italy, is that they can arrange the backrest in two positions via an internal mechanism made up of side bars and a visible brass release button. The wooden structure is completely original and restored; the padding has been redone, as has the fine cotton covering, with a backrest in two matching colours. The conditions are like new.
