Pair of Renaissance style armchairs in carved walnut, late 19th century

Pair of throne armchairs in perfect Italian Renaissance style, made at the end of the 19th century in carved solid walnut wood. The finely carved wooden backrest features a very complex decoration. Note how the decoration carved into the wood is also present on the back of the backrest of the two thrones, beautiful to be admired from all sides. The backrest and seat are padded and covered in brown eco-leather embellished with golden brass studs. Used but in excellent condition, both the wood, the padding and the imitation leather. Price negotiable.
