Paolo Buffa (1903-1970) is one of the greatest designers and architects of Mid Century Modern in Italy and in the world, and was active between the 1930s and 1960s. He is known for a number of furniture designs that combine neoclassical and art deco motifs with modernist principles. His pieces rarely include identifying marks, making them difficult to authenticate.
