Pair of antique walnut gondola chairs, Italy 19th century

Beautiful pair of antique gondola chairs in solid walnut from the first half of the 19th century, Charles X period Italian cabinet-making. The chairs are characterized by an enveloping and refined backrest, embellished with an elaborate decoration hand-carved in walnut wood. The seat is large and comfortable with padding covered in elegant red fabric. Excellent condition of the wood with light wear of the fabric and padding, replacement is recommended. Price negotiable.
