Painting View of Capri, the painter drew inspiration from the paintings of Giacinto Gigante who in 1800 was at the head of the Posillipo School. One of his favorite themes is the view of Capri, discovered by European painters of the nineteenth century thanks to the artworks of Gigante. A passion that is not limited to observing nature, but also involves aspects of daily life on the island, in this painting of exceptional intensity, full of an intimate and romantic atmosphere.
