Osvaldo Sabene - painting of Venice - The Rialto Bridge, mixed technique on canvas
Painting by Osvaldo Sabene depicting Venice, specifically a beautiful view of the Rialto Bridge, mixed technique on canvas.
Osvaldo Sabene was born in Monterotondo (Rome) on 23-07-1952, and currently lives and works in Rome.
In 1970 he attended the San Giacomo art school (Rome) and at the same time he enriched his pictorial technique with the painter Lino Tardia and the studios of other artists in via Margutta.
He began his pictorial activity adhering to the art magazine and gallery "il marguttone" of Luigi Casieri, and in 1983 he graduated from the academy of fine arts in Rome.
For over ten years he taught mural decoration in a regional institution, subsequently he will have numerous decoration experiences at a national level even on large surfaces such as villas and churches.
In the mid-nineties his painting turned towards American realism, becoming "A Roman Hopper", as defined by G. Biagioni Gazzoli in an article in the monthly Mondo Arte, dated 1997.
Photorealism is therefore the natural landing place of its continuous evolution.
