Luigi Rocca - Female nude oil painting on canvas, early 80s

Female nude painting by the artist Luigi Rocca, oil on canvas from the early 80s, complete with wooden frame and protective glass and Certificate of Authenticity. Luigi Rocca is a realist painter who was born in Porpetto, in the province of Udine (Italy), in 1952. He then attended the art school in Venice and completed his studies in Turin, where he moved. His career began with the exhibition at the Viotti Gallery in Turin in 1985, which consecrated him as one of the major representatives of hyperrealism. In 1987 he began his collaboration with the Galleria San Giorgio in Portofino. In 1987 he exhibited at the Art Expo in New York and then in numerous other exhibitions in America and Europe. In March 2017 he exhibited at the M.A.C. of Milan with a double solo show with his daughter, entitled "Father and Daughter".
