Large antique Louis Philippe mirror in gilded and carved wood

Antique mirror from the Louis Philippe Neapolitan era from the first half of the 19th century, entirely sculpted, carved and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror looks like a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from bottom to top where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse. The cymatium is a succession of rocaille scrolls. Two feet having a roccailles motif contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object. The mirror is made of mercury salt glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
