Beautiful antique engraving by the Frenchman Jean-Jacques de Boissieu depicting an old hurdy-gurdy player, from the 18th century with a non-coeval walnut frame. Price negotiable.
Jean-Jacques de Boissieu (1736-1810), French engraver, was born in Lyon, studied at the École Gratuite de Dessin in his hometown, but was above all self-taught. He began producing prints in the period 1758-64.
