Duccio Berti (1943) was the first artist in the 1970s to use the "multivision" photographic technique in Italy, he was a pupil of the painter Mauro Reggiani and the sculptor Armand Pierre Fernandez.
So far he has exhibited his works in Italy and in the world, mainly in New York, Taipei, Seoul and France, where he lives and works. At the beginning of his career he was attracted to photography and fell in love with the major exponents of surrealism and abstract expressionism. Then, in the 1980s, the turning point in his artistic production with participation in the Transavantgarde movement: he painted in oil for the first time, became an expert in all painting techniques and turned his attention to "dreamlike" Italian painters.
Currently, loving challenges, he uses poor materials such as pencils, tempera, chalk, charcoal and so on.
