Antique sculpture in burnished bronze depicting the head of the philosopher Seneca, by the French sculptor Heizler. The head of the Greek philosopher Seneca also called Pseudo-Seneca as it was discovered in Herculaneum in 1754 and found in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The original placed in the 1st century BC. it is the basis of inspiration for numerous sculptors and artists who reproduce its features in bronze castings.
