Old English double body secretaire desk - trumeau, early 19th century.
Base with waved dresser with three drawers and drop-down door. Shaped interior with sliding top, central door, small drawers, various compartments and secret drawers. the upper part is composed of two doors with shelves and drawers inside, shaped frame with central frieze. The chest of drawers with drop-down door is veneered in walnut, walnut briar, wood in the "head", inlays and precious woods. Oak structure, small lacks.
