Saverio Terruso (Monreale, 11 January 1939 – Milan, 3 March 2003) was an Italian painter known for his vibrant and expressive style, often depicting landscapes, still lifes and portraits. He was a leading figure in the 20th century Italian art scene, leaving behind a rich legacy of paintings and a lasting impact on the art world. Born in Monreale, Sicily, in 1939, Terruso showed an early aptitude for art. He attended the Palermo School of Art, where he honed his skills and developed his artistic sensitivity.
