Refined plaster sculpture with bust of Apollo in neoclassical style, from the first half of the 20th century. The bust is the reproduction of a famous marble statue, Apollo of the Belvedere. Apollo is, in Greek and Roman religion, the god of music, medical arts, sciences, intellect and prophecy. He is also the one who pulls the chariot of the sun, escorting the burning star through the celestial vault. Its main symbol is the lyre.
