Antique bas-relief sculpture in statuary white marble depicting the profile of a noblewoman enclosed in a round ebonized wooden frame, contemporary to the same. The sculpture portrays a woman of high social standing, dressed in a ceremonial dress adorned with a rich veil on her head and a necklace with a crucifix to indicate her Christian faith.
