Armchair - chaise longue design by François Caruelle, 1950s

Rare modernist armchair by the French designer François Caruelle, transformable, with chromed tubular metal structure with extractable mechanism that forms a chaise longue, solid wood armrests. The armchair is adjustable in three positions, foldable and transformable into a chaise longue. All components of the armchair, including the cushions, are original. The armchair is in good condition: the fabric of the cushions is intact, there are no rips or tears, the mechanical part is in perfect working order, there are slight signs of oxidation on some points of the chrome.
