Antique Victorian desk in walnut briar with chiselled leather top

Antique Victorian English writing desk in walnut root with chiselled leather top. The rectangular top has a walnut briar border with a British green leather in the center chiseled with 24Kt gold leaf. The undercounter band contains a large drawer with original key and escutcheon and signed lock. The feet have the classic cabriolet shape and are connected by a finely sculpted crosspiece resting on contemporary bronze wheels.
Condition: Restored by master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
