Antique spool armchair in wood and leather

Antique spool armchair from the mid-18th century in ebony with seat and backrest in African oxhide, enriched with fine bas-relief decorations on the backrest and brass studs. Provenance Palazzo Venezia Rome belonged to the urban planning engineer Alberto Manassei who, on the orders of Mussolini, worked on the urban planning of the historic center of Rome over twenty years and designed the current road of Via dei Fori Imperiali.
