Antique pair of 18th century glass paintings with peasant scenes

Pair of splendid and very rare ancient paintings on glass from the 18th century from the Venetian school, depicting scenes of peasant life. Of excellent pictorial quality, the paintings are mounted on a durable support, they were purchased at a Christie's auction in the first decade of 2000, in fact they still bear the label on the back.
Glass only measurements: 46 x 37 cm. Measurements with support: 52 x 42 cm.
