Antique oval extendable dining table in walnut, mid 19th century

Antique Louis Philippe period oval dining table, circa 1840, in solid walnut. This table is perfect for a dining room, it extends into the center to become a large table that can seat many people. The large central leg is finely turned and carved with decorations in solid walnut. When the table is open, two small turned legs on each side descend and allow the table to remain stable. The two central extensions that serve to lengthen it have been left in raw wood and it is possible, at the request of the customer, to color them in walnut color like the rest of the table. The maximum length of the extended table is 226 cm. If you have few guests, it is also possible to extend it with a single extension. Table in perfect condition, restored. Price negotiable.
