Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe mirror in gilded and carved wood

Rare antique mirror from the Louis Philippe Neapolitan era from the mid-19th century in gilded and carved wood. The particular concave-convex shape ends with a finely sculpted rocaille motif cymatium. The 24kt gold leaf gilding is placed on a layer of bole, a substance used as a base, on which the gold leaf is then placed. The mercury mirror is original from the time. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: Naples 19th century.
