Antique Neapolitan inlaid sofa from the Louis Philippe era

Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan sofa in precious exotic woods belonging to the second half of the 19th century. The backrest has an upwardly arched contour characterized by curves and counter-curves interrupted in the central section by a curl with a reserve in fine wood in the centre. The padded armrests end in an important double scroll in the shape of a carved "S". The two feet ending in an everted curl are connected by a mixtilinear apron with a cymatium in the center and on the sides.
