Antique Napoleon III mirror in gilded wood carved with griffins and rocailles

Antique Napoleon III mirror in carved and gilded wood with 24Kt gold leaf on a layer of Armenian bole. The front elevation is characterized by an imposing leaf-motif cymatium surrounded by a dense floral motif carving. To embellish the sides there are two sculptures depicting griffins resting on rocaille volutes. A double border runs all around the central mirror and ends with everted feet in the lower part.
