Antique Napoleon III French clock in white statuary marble

Antique white statuary marble clock belonging to the Napoleon III period of the second half of the 19th century. A woman holding a book rests on a column with a porcelain dial in the center, the base is wrapped in a gilt bronze garnish that rests on finely chiseled bronze bearings. Complete, with mechanism to be overhauled.
Provenance: France, 1860 - 1870.
