Antique Napoleon III clock in gilded bronze and marble, France 19th century

Napoleon III gilded bronze clock with richly decorated rectangular case. The circular enamel dial features Arabic numerals and hand-painted floral decorations, with the maker's signature "Rainegros a Paris". Above the case is a refined all-round sculpture depicting a bird among roses, leaves and ribbons, a symbol of love and peace. The lower part is enriched with embossed plant motifs, rosettes and garlands, with shaped corners and turned feet. The sides and back are enriched with glass with embossed gilded bronze elements. Condition: Mechanism to be overhauled.
