Antique chest of drawers in precious solid walnut from the Italian Baroque Louis XIV period of the second half of the 17th century, from a Piedmontese workshop. The chest of drawers features a beautiful antique patina to the walnut wood and rich wood carving work on the drawer fronts and sides. Equipped with four capacious front drawers, the first drawer has a very rare feature, the front has a drop-down opening that becomes a support or writing surface, internally equipped with eight small drawers with a central arched structure. The rich carving work is typically Piedmontese Baroque in taste. This dresser, due to its importance, is perfect for enriching any room in the house. In excellent condition, it shows signs of wear and the passage of time. Price negotiable.
