Antique French Napoleon III desk with bronze details

Antique French Napoleon III desk in mahogany with expertly chiseled gilded bronze applications. The rectangular shaped surface is surrounded by a gilded bronze railing with a chiselled leather in the center surrounded by a wooden reserve placed sideways. The undercounter band, also enriched with bronze fittings bearing a palmette motif, contains two lateral drawers identifiable by a beautiful, finely chiseled gilded bronze nozzle. The four truncated cone-shaped feet with grooves bear a beautiful bronze capital, and end with shoes of the same material.
Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
