Antique Cartel pendulum wall clock with shelf, from the 18th century French Louis winged cherub. The clock rests on a contemporary shelf and features an exceptional curved and tapered design with a stunning scrolled bronze setting. The front elevation features a large white enamel dial with Roman numerals surrounded by beautiful, richly chiselled girls' heads. The clock is lifted by very elegant, elaborately scrolled feet with finely detailed designs that develop along the scalloped front and up to the smooth central cabochon.
